FACILITIES
We have four different types of accommodation available including kitchenettes, cabins, 2 mobile homes and studios with an awesome deck overlooking the lake. Please see the Lodge Rooms page or Cabins page for details. Propane Bar-B-Q's are available ($3.00 per day or $15.00 per week). The large sand beach is a haven for sun worshippers and the gradually increasing water depth creates a safer environment for youngsters playing in the lake. A horseshoe pitch is also provided for your enjoyment.

Several excellent golf courses catering to all levels of golfer are within twenty minutes. More than a dozen wineries with growing international reputations are similarly within twenty minutes. Most offer wine tours and tasting. The Vaseux Lake Bird Preserve is just up the highway a few minutes and the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Obsevatory is also nearby.
There is a network of bike paths available for fitness buffs and recreational cyclists. Gallagher Lake is located in the only designated desert region in Canada and there are interpretive centres open to the public. A large variety of flora and fauna unique to this area can be appreciated by undertaking a short nature hike. Bird watchers enjoy the area as there are over 280 species to be found in the South Okanagan.
